Logo and Branding Development

I developed a logo and accompanying branding for a consulting brand as a sample project for an agency. The brief entailed creating a logo for a consulting firm, Sandra Marie Bronn. I decided on an initials-based logo, as a consulting firm’s name is one of their most recognizable features. Below you can find the inspiration for the branding and the accompanying branding I created, including a color palette and typeface.

The consulting firm focuses their work on tech, finance, and healthcare sectors. As I was creating the branding I took inspiration from branding in those sectors. I found blues and greens were prevalent which led to my choice in making the primary color a dark green. The dark green is also great for accessibility and legibility. To contrast the dark green, I supplemented the color palette with a lighter green, orange, pink, and beige. I wanted to make sure there were some warm colors, to allow the brand to feel welcoming and trustworthy.

I chose PP Neue Montreal for the brands typeface, due to its modern, yet approachable feel. For a consulting brand, I wanted to make sure the typeface was legible and professional, but didn’t want something that felt out of date. PP Neue Montreal also provided a great base for the logo.
